Frequently asked questions about counselling and psychotherapy
How long is a counselling and psychotherapy session?
A session lasts 50 minutes.
How many counselling and psychotherapy sessions will I need?
Once you attend the initial free session to assess whether you wish to enter therapy with me, you can decide how many sessions you would welcome; and, then, you can increase or reduce that number as you wish as you progress.
How often should I have a therapy session?
It is often useful to attend therapy weekly, if possible, for most benefit arising out of whatever issue or issues you may bring to therapy. Of course, that may not be feasible for you due to your circumstances, in which case other timings that could help you can be discussed.
What are your fees?
My fees are £50 per 50-min session. I offer a FREE initial consultation to explain how I work.
Where do you work?
I work from home, in a comfortable setting, at 34 Belle Vue Gardens, Kemptown, Brighton BN2 0AA
What about confidentiality during counselling and psychotherapy sessions?
Sessions would be confidential.
What if I am late for a session?
You can text me your expected arrival time if you are delayed.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
I would welcome 24 hours notice of any cancellation.
